Beginner Ballet and Tiny Tots

Introducing our youngest dancers to the world of ballet, our beginner and tiny tots classes spark imagination and creativity. With specialized props and a nurturing environment, we lay the foundation for a lifelong love of dance. Our Confidence Programme offers tailored classes for children aged 3 and a half to six, fostering self-assurance from the very start.

Progressing Through Grades

As students reach the ages of 7-8, they advance to our Grades program. Here, they delve into more challenging allegro work, honing muscle memory and technical skills. Each class builds upon the last, guiding students towards a deeper understanding and appreciation of ballet.

Achieving Excellence in Majors

Entering the Majors program marks a significant milestone in a dancer's journey. With a heightened focus on technique and performance, students commit to a rigorous exercise regime that culminates in participation in professional productions. Majors emerge with a profound sense of achievement and skill development.

Our Teaching Venues and Experienced Instructors

At Carlani Dance Studio, we provide top-notch instruction in multiple venues across Pretoria. From our private studio in Garstfontein Road Extension, Pta. East, to esteemed schools like Laerskool Monumentpark, Primary School Fleur - Lyttelton Manor, and Laerskool Louis Leipoldt, we offer a conducive environment for learning and growth. Led by experienced instructors Lesta Erasmus and Ilani Wessels, both esteemed members of the Dance Academy of South Africa (DASA - Classical Ballet). Lesta is chief dance adjudicator for National Eisteddfod Academy and a member of the International Dance Council, CID Unesco (Conseil International de la Danse). Our team ensures every student receives the highest quality education in classical ballet.
